Our Story

Founder Deborah McNelis created the term neuronurturing when she noticed caregivers could benefit from scientific research on early brain development. She wanted caregivers to understand that along with a nurturing relationship with their child they can promote brain development beginning at an early age.

She is the award-winning author of the unique and beautiful Brain Development Series of pocket/purse sized brain activity packets (in English or Spanish) and Naturally Developing Young Brains. McNelis’ pioneering work to create clear understanding of the experience’s children need and deserve is profiled regularly in a wide range of media platforms including radio shows, books and periodicals.
